Rethinking MBA
Just read a book Rethinking MBA by three harvard profs. What challenges MBA institutions face in changing world. I saw three interesting challenges/. Students, business prefer one year course, but want to learn every thing, do every thing and be every thing. though. Fast food feast course. just a reflection of the society. How can one address issue. this is to stay. My ideas are; Select early may be in graduation. Instead of having entrance test, offer some basic courses online when they are in undergraduation. I think instead of preparing for two years to clear entrance test, it is better to take some basic tests in core MBA subjects. Career based curriculum: today the curriculum is functional or industry based. which require the students to read more subjects which may not be useful directly. One more way of looking for curriculum grading can be career growth based,.for example HR can be graded from entry levels to HR head. ie lessons are based on what...
